"Searchin' (I Gotta Find a Man)" is a dance song written by Ian Stephens, recorded by Hazell Dean for her second album Heart First. The single was first released in 1983 which peaked at number seventy-six in the UK Singles Chart. It was re-issued in 1984 and managed to peak at number six in the UK, becoming one of her most successful singles to date.[1]
It was covered by Australian group Young Divas from their first album Young Divas. Unlike the song by Hazell Dean, the song's official title is just "Searchin'". The single was released on March 17, 2007. The video premiered on the February 24, and shows the girls dancing in a nightclub with men. The single debuted at number forty in the ARIA Singles Chart.
