[edit] Restructuring
I believe the SPU article can be significantly enhanced. I have already started to do so, with the infobox, pictures, and adding additional information. However, more can be done. Specifically the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Universities has specfic (but tentative) guidelines for how Univeristy articles can be laid out, and what information to include. Does anybody think this is a good idea? Asiir 15:56, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] this article...
...has a lot of opinion presented as fact. As a Seattleite who's not a big fan of SPU, I'm not really the man to change it. Someone else? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by CMLLovesDegus (talk • contribs).
- Recent edits constitute a massive copyvio from https://www.spu.edu/info/A2004aboutSPU.pdf and other official SPU sites. I'm going to revert to an earlier version. --Lukobe 04:55, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- I was wondering where all the new material was coming from so quickly... Any ideas on how to improve or remove opinions? Asiir 01:19, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
- I think there is some good, non-copyvio material in some of the pages from after the reversion. When I have more time in a couple days I'll look through and pick some out Asiir 01:25, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Copy edit on May 30 - article needs reference
I went through the article thoroughly on May 30 and believe the copyedit and wikify can be removed. However, article still needs references. See Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:Reliable sources for more information about Wikipedia's policies on these matters. KarenAnn 14:07, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Violation
The "Traditions" section is almost exculsively word-for-word from the SPU website at http://www.spu.edu/acad/UGCatalog/20067/GeneralInfo/aboutSPU_info.asp#7 , this needs to be rewritten, preferrably not by merely changing the order of words and using a thesaurus. Thrasymachus007 00:58, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
- It should probably be cut for now --Lukobe 01:13, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fake Alumni
It seems to be a problem that random people are editing this page by putting fake people in the "Famous Alumni" section. If you are doing this, please stop. The purpose of Wikipedia is not for people to joke around by adding erroneous facts. -Caldwa
