- Apparently, it was some big news back then, but I don't think it's significant enough to be a selected anniversary. Anyway, I've asked about this before. Please see this old response on my talk page:

- The significance: The suspected murderer was really rich (richer than the state of Texas), hired a really good lawyer, and ended up being proven innocent. WhisperToMe 23:31, 19 Oct 2004 (UTC)
