Sembach is a small town in the section of Verbandsgemeinde Enkenbach-Alsenborn in Kaiserslautern County in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz (Deutschland).

The town is nestled in the Naturpark of the Pfälzer Wald between the city of Kaiserslautern county and Donnersbergkries county.

in 1300 the land was purchased by lord Kloster Enkenbach, the town currently stands on portions of that land.

- The Bundesstraße 40 runs through the edge of the town. The Bundesautobahn 63 (Kaiserslautern- Mainz) Exit Sembach, is 1km Sembach. Frankfurt is 107 km from sembach, and downtown (Kaiserslautern) is about 8 km away.

Headquarters of 17th Air Force till 1994. Dependent schooling from Kindergarten to 3rd grade is in Sembach Elementary School and 4th-8th grades in Sembach Middle School. Many other buildings consist of Sembach Annnex accomplishing a variety of missions for the United States Air Force, Sembach AB (The former runway complex is no longer under American control).
