Seoul Subway Line 8 of the Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation was built 1990-99 and mainly serves the southeastern parts of Seoul and Seongnam. Jamsil to Amsa was opened July 1999. Total length: 17.7 km. The line will be extended to Guri station (north of the Han river).
