Sephyra is a Brazilian band that starts in November of 2005, when two friends (Ralph Ramos and Fabio Chinaglia) decide to form a band with intention to join the Heavy with the Melodic and the Power Metal. Guitarists, composers and fans of Nightwish, both had known themselves in BOW forum (Bless Our Wishes - one virtual forum of the Finnish band) and had touched together in a Sao Paulo band called Rose Rise of Deads.
In February of 2006, with the entrance of Camila Alves for the vocals, the name Sephyra name is giveth to the band.
In March of the same year, the bass player Leonardo Araujo and the drummer Adryan Cardoso, fix the band formation. With them, the project of record the first demo is initiated.
Although some of problems with integrants and the fast participation of Tiago Lusso(ex-HeavenFalls) on the keyboards, the cd just come up in December. With demo in hand nammed Battle Lord, the band initiates the spreading works.
But when everything seemed calm, the exit of Camila in January of 2007 happens. Sarah Avenger is who occupies the vocals now. And Sephyra promises many new features for 2007.
