Sergeant Bluff-Luton School District

The Sergeant Bluff-Luton School District is a public school system located in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. The school provides education for students living in Sergeant Bluff, as well as students living in Luton, Iowa.

- Rod Earlywine has been voted the new district's superintendent and will assume the position next year.
- The district's bus-barn has recently burned down, destroying all buses and various other items. Buses have been borrowed from Denison, Lawton-Bronson, River Valley, Sioux City, Westwood Schools.
- Due to the increasing number of students, new buildings and additions to the existing buildings have been proposed but voted against.

The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Middle school is located on 208 Port Neal Road, Sergeant Bluff, Iowa. The third school in the district, it teaches 6th grade to the 8th grade and about 400 students are currently enrolled. The school's policy is to work towards the students getting ready for high school.
