Servier Laboratories is a privately owned French pharmaceutical company. Notable products include the ACE inhibitor perindopril (Coversyl®), osteoporosis agent strontium ranelate (Protelos®), antidiabetic drug gliclazide (Diamicron®), diuretic antihypertensive indapamide (Fludex SR®), antianginal drug ivabradine (Procoralan®) and the antidepressant Tianeptine (Stablon®) which is a unique serotonin reuptake enchancer (SSRE).
SERVIER is established in 140 countries and 80% of its sales are achieved internationally. Almost 25% of the company’s turnover is invested in Research and Development (average over the last 5 years).
