Is it just me, or is that symbol awfully heterosexist? I've never before seen the circle in the Venus symbol invaded like this by the arrow on the Mars symbol, and my reaction as a woman is, Dude, have some sense of boundary, will ya?
So I'm a bit apalled that this image is supposed to represent human sexuality as a whole.
Something like this http://www.henleycol.ac.uk/henleycollege/courses/humanities/sociology/images/sex.gif seems to me much more human and respectful. My 2 cents. Voillot 01:59, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- I agree that it's pretty heterosexist. This discussion also has been taking place here. Personally, I don't know about the picture you offered, because it seems specific to child sexuality, not sexuality as a whole. That's the problem with this subject, is that (in my opinion) nobody has been able to offer a good symbol or picture that's fairly representative of human sexuality as a whole. -kotra 21:29, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
