Shane Brouse

Shane Brouse is a bassist currently residing and working in Southern California.
Born in Sudbury Ontario, Canada in 1971, Brouse grew up in the North Channel region and later moved to Ottawa.
From 1994-2000, Brouse was a member of Ottawa band, Shunt (formerly known as Sinister Sam). He was also an unofficial touring / recording member of Daiquiri, an Ottawa band formed in part, by friend and Tom Green Show co-host Glenn Humplik.
Brouse moved to California in 2000 and joined relocated Ottawa band, Lister, there. He is currently playing with Canadian actress / musician Miranda Frigon in Los Angeles.

- Brouse recorded background vocals on "Madhouse Clown", a song on Pigmy Love Circus's CD, The Power of Beef.
- A Perfect Circle guitarist and founder, Billy Howerdel offered Brouse an opportunity to audition for the band when (original bassist) Paz Lenchantin left the band. The audition never materialized and the band hired Jeordie White instead.
- Tool and A Perfect Circle vocalist, Maynard Keenan helped Brouse and Shunt choose the band's name.
- Brouse facilitated the introduction of Maynard Keenan and Tori Amos.
