Shaun Lowther

Shaun Lowther is a former Canadian national soccer team member and North American Soccer League player. He is currently an executive of a youth soccer club in Calgary.
Born in Newcastle, England he moved here as a child, Lowther played four seasons with the Vancouver Whitecaps - 1980 through 1984, the last year of the NASL. He then played for the Vancouver 86ers of the Canadian Soccer League and was a member of the 1988/89 team that went 42 games unbeaten.
A defender, Lowther played 14 times for Canada between 1983 and '85. He was also a member of the 1984 Summer Olympics Canadian team that reached the quarter-finals.
Lowther was General Manager of the Okanagan Predators of the Pacific Coast Soccer League in 2001 and 2002 (perhaps longer?). He is currently an executive with FC Calgary.
