Shauntae Janae Pierce (born July 1, 1985)

Originally from Fargo, North Dakota, Shauntae’ moved to Minneapolis in 2001 to help further her music career. Over the last several years Shauntae’ has performed at theaters, clubs and colleges across the country, as well as at virtually every live music venue in the Twin Cities, including First Avenue, The Quest, Bunker’s, The Cabooze, Trocaderos, The Fine Line, the Escape Ultra Lounge and The State Theater.

Recently returning to Minneapolis with rave reviews from her first solo tour, Shauntae’ performed in Minneapolis and across the Midwest throughout the Summer of 2006. When she is not on tour she can be seen performing in the Twin Cities with some of Minneapolis’ finest musicians and vocalists including Julius Collins of Greazy Meal, Michael Bland (Prince, Maxwell), Stokley Williams (Mint Condition) and Brian Gallagher (Prince, Mandy Moore) among others.

Shauntae’ has also been busy in the studio working with various producers on her debut CD including Will Ways of Will Ways Music Group, Prof T (Janet Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, Mariah Carey), Alex Richbourg (Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, TLC), Jeff Timmons of 98 Degrees, Lance Alexander (Janet Jackson, NEXT, Boys II Men), Levi Seacer (Prince), Darren Rust of The Blenders and Allen “Sparky” Starks (Destiny’s Child, Eminem, Luther Vandross). www.shauntae.com
