Shawnae Jebbia

Shawnae Jebbia (born August 26, 1972) won the Miss USA title in 1998.
To win the crown, Jebbia, Miss Massachusetts USA, edged out former Miss Teen USA and Miss California USA Shauna Gambill, the press favorite.
Jebbia, the first winner ever from Massachusetts and the oldest contestant at 26, then competed at the Miss Universe pageant later that year. Strong performances in evening gown and especially in the swimsuit competition allowed her to advance to the final 5 but her interview round wasn't solid enough to land her a spot among the 3 finalists.
Gambill then went to represent USA at Miss World, earning a spot among the semifinalists.
