Sheila Ferguson

Sheila Ferguson (born October 8, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) was the lead singer of 1970s American all woman soul music group The Three Degrees. Ferguson settled in the UK after marrying an Englishman, and had a brief acting career. She appeared three times on the TV Show Never Mind The Buzzcocks; three times as a panelist and once dressed as a pirate in the celebrity line up.
In 2004 she was a contestant on the fourth British series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here. In 2004 she released her debut solo album, New Kind of Medicine and the lead single, sharing the same title as the album, was complimented with a vibrant promo video, found here, directed by Burning Vision Entertainment that mixed retro with modern stylings to bring Ferguson firmly back into the limelight.
2007 will see Ferguson tour alongside Marti Webb and Rula Lenska in a new musical based on the menopause called Hot Flush.
