[edit] Plot
Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Hank's father Cotton, a sexist loudmouth who lost his shins fighting in WWII, comes to Bobby's birthday party. Peggy hates Cotton, but Bobby loves him, and starts to emulate his grandfather. When Bobby gives Peggy a slap on the behind and orders her to make his dinner, Hank reluctantly realizes that things have gone too far.
[edit] Trivia
- In this episode, Cotton takes Bobby out of school because it's Angie Dickinson's birthday, which falls on September 30, making Bobby's birthday September 29.
- The title is an allusion to Sins of the father, a concept by which offspring are punished for the wrongdoings of a parent.
