Talk:Shiny Shelf

Care to explain your concerns? I wrote the entry as the website has been mentioned in some of the Doctor Who novellists' entries to give a fuller picture of their work and activities, and I considered it to require an entry of its own to save repetition across numerous entries. The website in question is a professionally produced web-magazine that bears comparison to other professionally produced non-web magazines such as Doctor Who Magazine. I've got no connection to the website: the entry was created out of a belief that it was required. Snide Paul 14:58, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- I was going to remove the tag but I'm not convinced it meets WP:WEB. Some evidence it does would be handy. NicM 18:05, 23 January 2006 (UTC).
The initial reason for thinking it relevant was that the owners and reviewers have all contributed to or written outright a variety of factual books on genre TV programs for Virgin Publishing, and so a website that collected their writing I assumed would be of encyclopaedic interest and hold similar status to their published work. However, with regards the WP:WEB, the website has been mentioned in genre magazines SFX and Cult Times. Snide Paul 12:28, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
- I'd just remove the tag then, if anyone really objects they will put it back and should give a reason, NicM.
