Shyheim (born Shyheim Dionel Franklin on November 14, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York) is a rapper and actor who is a cousin to some of the Wu-Tang Clan members. He has released a total of four solo albums and is believed to be working in the studio on his fifth album with featured artist such as Mýa and Ol' Dirty Bastard's younger brother, and also production by The Heatmakerz and RZA. The album will include a documentary DVD on his life.

After moving to Staten Island from Brooklyn as a child Shyheim spent time living with Wu-Tang Clan member Ghostface Killah. He became affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan and released his first single "On and On" in 1993. His debut album AKA the Rugged Child was released in 1994 when he was only 14 years old. That same year he performed along side rap legends The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur and Big Daddy Kane at a concert at Madison Square Garden. He also appeared on the classic posse cut "Show & Prove" on Big Daddy Kane's album Daddy's Home along side Jay-Z. Shyheim appeared in the music video for TLC's #1 hit single "Waterfalls playing the main character. He has since been acting in film and television starting in 1996 with the movies Original Gangstas and The Preacher's Wife and television sitcom The Parent 'Hood. Shyheim had a daughter named Skye on July 21, 2004.
