Sierra Madre Villa is a station on Metro's Gold Line. The station is a island platform located near the intersection of North Halstead at Colorado Boulevard/Foothill Boulevard, in the median of Interstate 210. The station is located in the city of Pasadena. This station features an architectural design, called Untitled, created by artist Tony Gleaton, and the Parking Garage and Bus Facility's architectural design, called Images of Commonality/Nature and Movement was created by artist Beth Thielen. [1]
The station serves as a large transit hub for area buses, and features a large 950 space park and ride parking garage and there is a program for priority parking for a fee. The station draws commuters from east of the station to ride the train into Los Angeles.
The station entrance is from the fourth floor of the parking structure, crossing a bridge.
