The Signature Tower is an approved mixed-use skyscraper to be built in Nashville, Tennessee (USA). When completed, it will contain condominiums, office space, a Hotel Palomar,[1] and retail space. The building will have 70 stories[2] and will stand 1,057 feet (322 m) in height,[3] making it one of the tallest buildings in the United States and the tallest in the Americas outside of New York and Chicago (surpassing Bank of America Plaza in Atlanta by 10 metres).[4]
The Signature Tower is being developed by Giarratana LLC at an estimated cost of US$300 million.[3] Groundbreaking is currently scheduled for early 2007. The building will be located at the southwest corner of Church Street and Fifth Avenue North.[2] Giarratana announced 18 July 2006 that it had slated Turner Construction Co. of New York to complete the project.[5]
