I cann't tell if this one is a message to go ontop of a talk page or if it is a mesage to warn users about Editing tips such as in Editing hints--E-Bod 21:13, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- I have never used it as a warning, only a request. Since you seem to be trying to tone down the "warning" aspect of it (and no one has replied to disagree with you in months) I have gone ahead and done so. I have left that it is a guideline to encourage users to comply, but not be harsh about it. Previously it seemed a little recriminating. - BalthCat 03:41, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A few minor changes
I've made a few minor wording and punctuation changes to the template. "As a courtesy to..." sounded better than "As a courtesy for..." I've also included WikiProjects in the list of specified places where posts might be made, to include the Help Desk and the Reference Desk, for example. Feel free to revert if any of this seems unnecessary or inappropriate. —XhantarTalk 16:33, 10 February 2007 (UTC)
