Silena Murrell's yet-to-be titled debut album has been in the works for three years, and is near completion. Over the past few years, Murrell has worked with Scott Storch, Tricky Stewart, Eric Dawkins and Steve Huff, as well as new unknown, up-and-coming producers. Murrell stated during an interview that the album would be 'full of up-tempos, mids and ballads'. [1] Producer Tricky Stewart also called the album 'an amazing masterpiece.'
[edit] Singles
The buzz single from the album will be "Bring It Home," and has already been released to radio and iTunes. Murrell also had a single titled "I Like My Man Hard" that was part of the soundtrack for a book, titled Sex.Lies.Murder.Fame. by Lolita Files. It's been speculated that the Scott Storch produced "Shorty How U Like That" is the first single. It is unknown if it is true.
