Silvery Moon Records
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Silvery Moon Records was an independent record label located in the West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA area. The label was based in the home of the founding member Daniel Drust. The name "Silvery Moon Records" was first used to promote Dan Drust's solo demo in spring, 2005. Silvery Moon Records quickly became the main record label for the band The Occupants and quickly signed fellow local band Hope She Drowns, and now houses 5 small bands. The purpose of the label is to promote the bands locally, find local venues for the bands to play throughout the Delaware Valley, and to promote releases from the bands. The label's name comes from the lyrics to one of The Occupants's songs. Silvery Moon records, however quickly dissapated, after the break up of 3 of the bands, and the founding and only member moved to Texas to operate a Seven Eleven store.
