[edit] The Tagline
The tagline of SKOAR! is ...When its done. It was created by Badri Narayan because he was pestered with mails pertaining questions on the release of the next issue. As of 5th February 2007 only two issues have been successful in releasing on time.

[edit] Criticism
[edit] Distribution of Pirated games
Skoar! has been including full version pirated games in their DVDs. Skoar! denies this fact however, claiming that the games are abandonware. The DVDs also contain keygens and no cd cracks for the games given, some games included in the DVDs are Call of Duty[1] , Mafia, Half Life, Rayman 1 and some others.[2] [3]
[edit] Bad Language used on the Magazine and cheating with freelancers
Inside you will find a lot of dirty and profane language. Such as excessive use of the 'Fuck' and references to homosexuality. The magazine insults the readers and freelancers who submit their reviews to Skoar! sometimes completely editing the reviews and previews and including profane language in them while just putting the name of the previewer/reviewer(mostly freelancers).
[edit] What Digit had to say
When this topic was highlighted at the Digit forums twice, both times the administrator locked the topics, claiming that Skoar distributes only abandonware games. While Digit plays it safe, on the other side Skoar plays dirty.
In the Digit magazine, readers are always advised not to buy pirated games, software, etc. This message has been increasing a lot in the upcoming issues; perhaps to make up for what Skoar! is doing.
[edit] Chaos at the Skoar! forums
A freelancer and Skoar! forum member posted a topic at the Skoar! forums regarding why his preview on Super Smash Brothers Brawl for the Wii was tampered with. Basically, he felt used.
Another innocent member posted a conversation he had with a member of the Skoar! team. Skoar! considers India a free country, so they claim not only to have the right to use profane language, but to also change the opinion of the freelancer's submission without directly addressing it to the freelancer himself.
When this message was posted and exposed in the forums, Badri Narayan a.k.a Badjag, the head honcho of Skoar! magazine came online. He instantly removed the account of the member who exposed the conversation and shut down the forums.
This proves that Badri Narayan is guilty of distributing pirated games and cheating reviewers and previewers (freelancers).
Many forum members are boycotting Skoar! on realizing this issue.
Aayush Iyer [4] , who happens to be a member of the Skoar! team is also a member at Wikipedia and he removed this section to hide the truth.
