Skunpoo (スカンプー Sukanpū?, Skunpoo in original Japanese language versions) are one of the 493 fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. The purpose of Skunpoo in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]
Its Japanese name Skunpoo is a portmanteau of the words skunk, and pu~, a Japanese onomatopoeia for flatulence.

[edit] Biological characteristics
Skunpoo is a purple and off-white skunk-like creature with facial features that seem to resemble buttocks, a reference to its odious nature.
[edit] In the video games
Skunpoo was introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl for the Nintendo DS. It is a Dark and Poison type combination, a mix new to the Pokémon games with Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, which is shared with its evolved form Skutank, as well as the unrelated Drapion. Skunpoo either have the pre-existing ability Stench, or the new ability Aftermath, which damages the attacker when Skunpoo is caused to faint by the use of a physical attack.
Skunpoo and its evolution are exclusive to Pokémon Diamond.
