The Slovenian National Basketball Team is a team that is selected by the Slovenian Basketball Federation to compete in major international basketball events in representation of Slovenia.
Slovenia ended on the 6th place in the Eurobasket 2005 and thus qualified for Basketball World Championship 2006. Since the independence of the country in 1991, the team competed at every European Basketball Championship but failed to advance to the next group until 2005.
