Slugabed has been a slightly active Wikipedian since March 15, 2006. He edits slowly but surely, so don't get impatient.
Jacob Shemkovitz was born on September 10, 1984 in Connecticut. He graduated from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in June of 2006, majoring in graphic design. He is currently living in West Hartford and looking for work in New York City.
Jacob is a sponge for comics, music and film, and is interested in the utility of genre (for example, neorealism's role in recovering Italy's shattered studio system after WWII, or superhero comics as escapist literature for readers).
At some point, Jacob may contribute self-made graphics and/or photography to Wikipedia.

- Made a page for John Rosenberger, though it's still a stub
- Curt Swan deserves a longer page
- E. Nelson Bridwell seems interesting: he was one of the first wave of comics-fans-turned-comics-creators, and was something like an official Superman Family historian.
- Interested in adding to and reorganizing Paul Pope
