Smith & Welton

Smith & Welton was a leading department store in Norfolk, Virginia and operated stores across the Hampton Roads region. Their downtown Norfolk store closed in 1997; it was a beloved landmark known for its Tea Room on a second floor mezzanine that overlooked the store [1]. The Granby Street store is now a branch of Tidewater Community College[2].
