Smoking Skull Championship

The WWE Smoking Skull Championship is the WWE championship designed for "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. Only when Steve Austin won the WWE Chmpionship would it be used. The Championship belt is now in the possesion of Austin, and is no longer used in World Wrestling Entertainment.

After Austin won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XIV, WWE chirman Vince MacMahon presented him with the Smoking Skull Championship, which would represent the WWE Championship. The belt design represented the personality of Steve Austin. The two snakes on the side of the main belt representing one of his nicknames, "The Texas Rattlesnake" and the skull in the centre representing Stone Cold himself. Stone cold went on to win the WWE Championship a total of six times, second only to The Rock and level with Hulk Hogan. However, Steve Austin did not use the Smoking Skull belt to represent the WWE Championship on all six occasions.

•Steve Austin's shortest reign as champion was between June 28th 1999 and August 22nd 1999, a total of 55 days.
•Two more of Austin's title reigns are exactly above his shortest reign, holding the title for 56 and 62 days.
