He has lived in the UAE, USA, Singapore and India at various times.
An eclectic sort of person, he is interested in world history (especially East Asian history), technology, religion, ideology, philosophy and food culture, among other topics.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from a major American university, a diploma of an accelerated software technologies course from a well-known Indian IT institute, and work experience at a domain-leading multinational corporation. He is currently pursuing a twin-city IT-focused MBA at a top-tier Indian B-school, while on break from the MSc in IT that he is pursuing with a research-based university in the UAE.

- Back after a relatively long time away. Added bits about Singapore, India and Lebanon in Offal#Asia. Couldn't find references to rakhti anywhere online, but I've seen it and tasted it (just a little). Also did some NPOV in Rahul Gandhi#Controversy.
