[edit] I salute you, sir
You've made a ton of important edits that have been a levee against the flood of poor writing, uncited claims, personal opinion, and fannish excesses. I completely understand the frustration you feel — many times editing in the Comics Project feels less like an avocation than a chore. What has made it worthwhile, for me, are conscientious editors such as yourself, CovenantD, Chris Griswold, Bloodpack, Stephens Block & Day, and many others.
I do wish the free-for-all nature of WP were less anarchic. I'd love to see registration required — it's free and then portable from computer to computer, so why not? — and a simple online Wiki-editing primer and a test, like a driver's test, before people can edit.
Maybe someday. Because such changes might help prevent good editors like yourself and others I've known — and myself so close at many points — from leaving what on (virtual) paper is a Utopian project.
Of course, we all know how Utopias turn out...! :-)
Hope to see you back in the future. With high regards, -- Tenebrae 05:33, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] If you come back
Let us know. We've gotten a lot better at supporting each other, at least in the Comic WikiProject. I have your back. I'll support you. --Chris Griswold (☎☓) 08:16, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fare thee well
Sorry you had such a rough time of it. --GentlemanGhost 18:06, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] I hope to see you again
You were a big help to me (don't know if you remember at all) and I'll always appreciate the help you gave to me. Good luck in life man. :) Stephen Day 22:21, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
