Soundwave festival (australia)

The Soundwave Festival (not to be confused with the UK Soundwave Festival) is a music festival held in Australia, set to begin in 2007, which features a number of Australian & International acts, mostly from the punk/hardcore/rock genres.
The festival is to be held in three cities across Australia:
- Riverstage, Brisbane, on February 24
- Sydney Park, Newton, Sydney, on February 25
- Robinson Pavillion & Claremont Showgrounds, Perth, March 3
The large gap between the second and third days of the festival is to allow the bands attending to play sideshows in other major Australia cities; namely Adelaide and Melbourne.
