Southport is a station on the CTA's Brown Line. It is located at 3411 N. Southport Avenue. It was put into service in 1907 as part of Northwestern Elevated Railroad's Ravenswood line. It is located in the Lakeview neighborhood. In 2006, the station is scheduled to replaced to support 8 rail cars, ADA requirements, and Brown Line modernization. The stations that are adjacent to Southport are Paulina, to the west and Belmont, to the southeast.
