Talk:Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nobody seems to really care about the SCAC, but we'll try to keep this up-to-date, anyway.
[edit] Disputed text
I re-removed the following text:
- Much of this may be caused by a combination of high academic standards and small school sizes; however, it must be noted that successful athletic programs at Division III colleges such as Emory and Williams share similar academic, cost, and enrollment figures with SCAC institutions.
I removed it the first time because it is unsupported theorizing. On top of that, it refutes itself, so it doesn't really make much sense. If someone can provide a citation that links the success of the conference to academics or size, and then picks just one of the two sentences, I'll be happy to see it included.
