new article, work underway as of October , 2005.
[edit] lead, transportation, definition
I have started working on this new article, which has a long way to go. While there is a lot of overlap in how the community sees itself, I believe that most portions of the potential area to include in this article which are near or south of the Chesterfield Courthouse area (such as Chester) are more properly included in the article on Chesterfield County.

[edit] Where is Chester?
I am going to add Chester to Southside even though some people think southside ends at route 288. I would say that Southside and the tri-cities might overlap a little but a good line of demarcation is Ironbridge road. Any objections? MPS 20:01, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
