[edit] Overview
The band's line up featured:
- Rick-vocals
- Tirre-bass
- Leon-guitar
- Zip-drums
The band existed for 2 years playing shows extensively about 2 times a week, with such bands as Red Zebra, The Sound, The Neon Judgement, The Nitwitz, and Svatsox among others.
[edit] History
Existing in a different incarnation as "The Sovjets" in 1979, they had not yet met Leon and had a different guitarist. They put out 2 30 minute cassettes with this line-up (about 1000 total) and sold them all. As harder punk music was on its way out around this time, they adapted, changing their name to "Sovjet War" and incorporating poppier influences. "It Became A Problem" is now a scarce find and has been seen priced anywhere from 30 to 75 €.
