Spencer Douglas

A local Hong Kong band consisting of Tim, Jan and Nimal.

The band was established in late 2006 by Nimal Jayawardena (founder of the Rockit Hong Kong Music Festival. Named after his friend Spencer Douglass after he viewed a Coldplay press conference in which Spencer was featured. After advice from their marketing agent they decided to drop the second s in Douglass, to create a balanced logo. They made their debut on the closing night of the club Amnesia and played their second gig at the 2006 Rockit festival, just prior to Ian Brown coming on stage.
