Spider-Man 2.1 is a DVD extended release of Spider-Man 2 that will be released on April 17th 2007. It will have over 8 more minutes of material than the theatrical film, and will have 50 minutes of documentary footage on the making of Spider-Man 2

The eight new minutes of scenes will include an extended train scene, clock tower scene, and many bits of non-action scenes.
This DVD is being released just in time for Spider-Man 3's theatrical release, and is intended to promote the movie.
