Spiral Mountain
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the Banjo-Kazooie series, Spiral Mountain is home to many characters, including Banjo himself. Banjo’s house lies on the outer part of Spiral Mountain. But Spiral Mountain isn’t only the home of Banjo. It is also where you will discover Gruntilda's Lair. In Banjo-Kazooie, Grunty’s Lair is how you are able to enter the worlds you must venture in.
Spiral Mountain gets its name from the spiral-shaped mountain that lies in the heart of the area. There is also a moat-like lake placed around it. Spiral Mountain was once thought to be in the Northern Kremisphere, but after Banjo-Tooie it is now widely considered to be part of the Isle o' Hags.
Sprial Mountain went through some damage in Banjo-Tooie after the Grunty Sisters came through with a powerful digging machine to rescue Gruntilda who was trapped under a rock after Banjo-Kazooie. Gruntilda's lair was also destroyed.
It can be seen in the teaser trailer for Banjo-Kazooie 3, but it is just a façade.
