Spring Creek, Sonoma County

Spring Creek, in Sonoma County, California, USA, is a stream that rises in the northern part of the Sonoma Mountains[1] within Annadel State Park. This watercourse is tributary to Matanzas Creek, which in turn discharges to Santa Rosa Creek; in turn Santa Rosa Creek is tributary to the Laguna de Santa Rosa that discharges to the Russian River, whose mouth is at the Pacific Ocean. Spring Creek drains the western slopes of Taylor Peak. An unnamed stream and Spring Creek drain into Matanzas Creek from the east side of Bennett Valley below the Matanzas Creek Reservoir.[2]
