In January 2006 SpringCM made the first appearance onto the Software as a Service marketplace as an offshoot product based heavily on a document sharing and compliance utility constructed for ChemCentral. SpringCM has released marketing whitepapers directed at proving
SpringCM received $8 million USD in foundation capital from Silicon Valley-based investment capital firm, Foundation Capital in third-quarter 2006 bringing the total amount of investment capital raised to $10 million USD[3].

Fujitsu - November 7, 2006 - The partnership between SpringCM and Fujitsu enables users to scan documents via any Fujitsu workgroup, department or production scanner then upload the documents directly to the SpringCM document repository [4].
WebEx Communications - October 10, 2006 - WebEx and SpringCM announce a partnership whereby SpringCM will be integrated into the WebEx Connect partner grid [5] [6] [7].
