St. Johns Country Day School

St. Johns Country Day School is a non-denominational private school located in Orange Park, Florida. It has classes ranging from pre-kindergarten through grade 12. It was founded in 1953 by Edwin Paul Heinrich and Dorothea Becker Heinrich. Its mascot is the St. Johns Spartan, and its colors are navy, light blue, and white.
In 2006, the school added middle school and varsity football to its athletic offerings, which also include crew, tennis,golf, cross country, soccer, track, and volleyball.
In 2004, the St. Johns Varsity Girls Soccer team made its first appearance in the State Final Four. They finished State Runners-up, losing 1-0 to American Heritage-Delray. In 2005, they revisited the State Final Four. They won the State Title, outing American Heritage in a 4-3 penalty kick shootout. In 2006, they revisted the Final Four but were outted in the first round by Orangewood Christian.
In 2007, St. Johns Girls Varsity Soccer team won the Class 2A State Championship against Delray Beach American Heritage in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
