St. Mark's Anglican Community School is a school in Perth, Western Australia. It is located on St. Mark's Drive, on an 11 hectare site, in Perth's northern suburb of Hillarys. It is a coeducational day school and currently has 1270 students ranging from kindergarten to Year 12. The school was officially opened in 1986. Barbara Godwin was the first principal.
The schools chapel was built in 1999, amid criticism that it had been constructed ahead of ote amenities including classroom airconditioning. Several classrooms were airconditoned however, in late 2005.
[edit] Houses
The primary and secondary school are divided into four different houses; Carnley, Challen, Moyes and Watkins. The four houses compete in interhouse competitions including swimming and athletics.
The Secondary Interhouse Swimming Carnival was won on the 21st of February, 2007 by Carnley house, followed by Moyes, Watkins and Challen.
