From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Cathedral Church of St David, Hobart, is the principal Anglican church in Tasmania. The current dean is the Honourable and Reverend Dr. Lindsay Stoddart.
St David's Cathedral was built between 1868 and 1936. There are stones in the museum dating from the sixth century. There are also very old flags dating from the time when Tasmania stopped being a convict settlement. It has fabulous stained glass windows depicting saints, knights, kings and biblical characters. Along the walls, there are small plaques dedicated to those past.
