Stafford Mays (born March 13, 1958 in Lawrence, KS) is a retired american football defensive lineman.

Mays went to Lincoln High School in Tacoma, WA.
[edit] College Career
Mays played junior college football at Mount Hood Junior College. He later played college football at the University of Washington.
[edit] Professional Career
Mays played in the National Football League as a defensive end and defensive tackle for the Saint Louis Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings between 1980 and 1988.

Mays' son, Taylor Mays, is a defensive back for the University of Southern California, and was a stand out player at Seattle's O'Dea High School. Stafford Mays now works at Microsoft.
