Stan Benjamin

Alfred Stanley (Stan) Benjamin (born May 20, 1914 in Framingham, Massachusetts) is a former right fielder in Major League Baseball who played for the Philadelphia Phillies (1939-1942) and Cleveland Indians (1945). He batted and threw right handed.
Listed at 6' 2", 194 lb., Benjamin hit .323 for the Chattanooga Lookouts of the Southern Association before joining the Phillies in 1939. His most productive season came in 1941, when he posted career-highs in home runs (3), RBI (27), runs (47), hits (113), doubles (20), triples (7), stolen bases (17) and games played (129).
In a five-season career, Benjamin hit .229 with five home runs and 41 RBI in 241 games.
As of February 2007, Benjamin (92) is recognized as one of the oldest living MLB players.
