Standley Lake High School is a public high school in Westminster, Colorado located off of 104th Ave and Wadsworth Blvd. The high school opened in 1988 and a new addition to the southeast corner was opened in 2002. Area rivalries are limited to Pomona High School in nearby Arvada, Colorado.

The original campus buildings were designed by LKA Partners. The design won an Honor Award by the American Institute of Architects Colorado South Chapter in 1991.
Standley Lake's gymnasium is referred to as "The Swamp."
[edit] Extracurricular activities
In 2002, the school's speech and debate team qualified two competitors to the National Forensics League's National Speech and Debate Tournament, and repeated the feat four more years. Teacher George Barker won a Colorado Teacher of the Year Award in 2001 and Chris Nissen, who graduated from Standley Lake High School in 2003, won the 2003 Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.
