[edit] Accusations of Improprities against Women
In December 2006 Stanisław Łyżwiński was accused by fellow party member Aneta Krawczyk of having demanded sexual favours in return for a job and career in Samoobrona. Following the publication of these claims in the Gazeta Wyborcza [1], similar accusations were made by other alleged female victims, against him and senior party officials. The office of Poland's chief prosecutor Janusz Kaczmarek has begun to investigate this so-called Sex for Jobs affair. Further details in last section of the Samoobrona entry; this article on the Free Republic [2] website provides an overview in English.
