Stanislav Loska

Stanislav Loska is a veteran on the Czech paralympic team. Torino 2006 was his fourth Paralympic games. In the Winter Paralympic Games in Lillehammer he won the bronze medal in the slalom. He won the same medal in the world championship in Lech in Austria. In Nagano 1998 he placed fourth and fifth. In the world championships in Anzere he won the bronze medal in the slalom and an invitation to the Winter Paralympic Games in Salt Lake City.
Stanislav Loska learned to ski as soon as he could stand. His coming ski career broke an accident in 1988. He studied in Brno a faculty of building and he came back home with a train across Přerov. There was changing the locomotive. This fatal day was the locomotive changed earlier and Stanislav almost missed the train. He tried to jump in the started train. Unfortunately he fell under the train and lost his left arm.
