StarLink-IRC
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
StarLink-IRC, commonly abbreviated as SL-IRC, is a general-purpose IRC network that split from StarLink.Org on 1 January, 1997. It reestablished its original goal to be a family-friendly cybertown, reasonably free from abuse and prohibiting channels on inappropriate topics such as warez and cybersex. The rules are designed to keep the network family-friendly and remain an open network (as opposed to a number of "family" networks that are inaccessible to most or unacceptably strict).
Some of the most popular channels on Starlink-IRC are support channels, including the autistic community as well as a number of other support groups that have been using StarLink-IRC since 1997.
