Star Screen Award Best Actress

The Star Screen Award Best Actress is an Indian cinema award established in 1994, which is chosen via a distinguished panel of judges from the film industry. The winners are announced in January of each year. The first woman to receive this award was Madhuri Dixit.
Frequent winners include Madhuri Dixit, who has won three times, and Rani Mukerji, Kajol and Aishwarya Rai, who have each won two times. Dixit and Mukherji also have the distinction of winning two years in a row.
